With its first edition taking place in April 2019, Sabah Jazz is held in conjunction with International Jazz Day. The event showcased over 120 Jazz musicians from all around Malaysia performing in front of over 1600 in attendance.
// After two years of postponement due to the pandemic, the second edition finally took place on 30th of April 2022 at D'Atas Explorers Tavern in Kota Kinabalu City featuring 15 Jazz musicians from all around Sabah performing in front of over 200 in attendance.
//The Sabah Jazz International Jazz Day Celebration 2023 was held on 30th of April 2023 at Urban Tamu X Sabah Jazz, Riverson in Kota Kinabalu featuring 32 Jazz musicians from all around Sabah performing in front of 2,000 in attendance.
//A special edition called Sabah Jazz by The Beach 2023 at the Prince Philip Park Tanjung Aru Beach was held on the 29th October 2023. Over 4,000 people was in attendance to watch 38 Jazz musicians on stage.
//The Sabah Jazz International Jazz Day Celebration 2024 was held on the 30th of April 2024 at Hilton Kota Kinabalu. A dinner concert theme was chosen this year and over 500 people was in attendance to watch 16 Jazz musicians on stage.
//The upcoming Sabah Jazz by The Beach 2024 is scheduled to take place at the Prince Philip Park Tanjung Aru Beach on the 22nd September 2024.
//Sabah Jazz is a listed event within the UNESCO International Jazz Day celebration.

8 September 2024 - SABAH JAZZ by The Beach is happening on the 22nd September 2024 (Sunday) from 5pm to 10pm at Prince Philip Park, Tanjung Aru Beach, Kota Kinabalu. In collaboration with the Tanjung Aru Beach Fest 2024, five bands are scheduled to perform on stage). This event marks the second event that the SABAH JAZZ team has organised this year after last April's International Jazz Day Celebration. This is a free event for the public.
